AO-51 Satellite QSO - Here is what 5w sounds like each way across the Atlantic, Recorded by KB1RVT Daniel in QSO with Charlie EI8JB on 9/11/09 our QSO was via the AO-51 Satellite. It was at an altitude of about 750Kms at the time and it was on a far Transatlantic pass from EI where I only had the signal from AO-51 at 6 degrees elevation from the back garden on my Handheld and portable Yagi. Daniel was using a Portable Yagi and two Handhelds, one for RX as the uplink was on 70cms and dowlink on 2m.
